Before you can purchase your first NFT, you need to create your crypto wallet where you will store your NFTs. For ease of use we recommend MetaMask or Torus.
MetaMask is the most commonly used crypto wallet, and is a browser extension used to access most web3 sites. This is a decentralised wallet, so only you have access to your NFTs.
Torus is the easiest digital wallet on the web, allowing you to use social logins such as Google, Facebook, Twitter or Discord. Create an account, and you’re ready to go!
To purchase your NFT, you will need to have ETH cryptocurrency in your wallet to use for payment.
Topping up your Metamask wallet is simple, either purchase your ETH through your MetaMask or transfer funds to it from an exchange such as Coinbase or Binance.
With Torus, you can easily add funds to your wallet in just a couple of clicks through the Torus dashboard.
Swappable is a web3 platform, so you do not need to create an account you simply connect your wallet to login.
To connect your Metamask wallet, click on the button that says CONNECT WALLET in the top right-hand corner of the site, and choose Metamask from the list.
To connect your Torus wallet, click on the button that says CONNECT WALLET in the top right-hand corner of the site, and choose Torus from the list.
When purchasing an NFT you will confirm the purchase in your wallet and pay the gas fee for the transaction.
