Top Swiss Legal Firm Lenz & Staehelin buys UNICEF NFT to support Gigaconnect

Switzerland’s leading law firm, Lenz & Staehelin, was the buyer of Philipp Schaerer’s Aturalis – Codex P8a NFT artwork, which was launched on Swappable.

The auction took place at the Crypto Finance Conference in St.Moritz and was a huge success; the piece sold for 7.7 ETH!

Lenz & Staehelin supports an important charity cause as the NFT artwork is part of UNICEF’s NFT auction launched on Swappable. The ultimate cause of this initiative is to close the digital divide by connecting every school to the internet, and every young person to information, opportunity, and choice.

The UNICEF Giga collection included five exclusive artworks from renowned artists Jani Leinonen, Nadieh Bremer, Philipp Schaerer and Robertson Käeppelli.

Aturalis – Codex P8a NFT shows an organic-crystalline structure and thematises the increasing blurring of the boundary between digital images and material objects. The resulting structure exhibits a naturalistic quality, but at the same time, its claim to reality is undone and undermined by their strictly geometric and graphic surface properties.

Lenz & Staehelin is an active stakeholder in the crypto industry with over 200 lawyers, and its ability to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing complexities of legal and regulatory environments in Switzerland and beyond.
